Astra Film Fest Illustrations

I made these illustrations of some iconic landmarks in my home city of Sibiu as part of a key visual proposal for a local film festival. The buildings in the historic center of Sibiu have eye shaped attic windows [see here], so my concept was about the city, itself, being the audience of the festival. I enhanced the eyes by adding subtle eyebrows or even smiles to some of the rooftops.
