Europe's first CBD exhibition, hosted by The Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum Amsterdam. The exhibition aimed to educate the public on the history, importance and benefits of CBD, while showcasing the many traditional or innovative ways to get CBD in your system.

The name, ABC of CBD, illustrates that the exhibition is an introduction into the basic concepts behind CBD, but also, as explained in the taglines on posters and other marketing materials, it also stands for "Advances Beyond Cannabis". The name concept belongs to Simone Badoux, from the Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum Amsterdam.

The Logo organically came to be while sketching in the early stages of planning, while looking at the chemical representation of the CBD molecule. The hexagon became the shape that would guide the design direction.

The color palette that I came up with for this project featured earthy tones in the browns, and more natural-feeling colors in the two tones of green. I wanted to juxtapose the natural-feel with a lila hue, assuring contrast when needed.

The venue featured a full room dedicated to the exhibition, with all the information and visuals presented on the walls. One of the walls, featured a timeline of the history of CBD, timeline which I was assigned.

The rest of the walls continued the overarching molecule / hexagon theme established, also varying the background and foreground colors. Products were displayed on a CBD molecule-shaped shelf (try saying that really fast) that added extra depth to the design.
